The blades were not bent, but were as removed from the packaging by me. A reasonable store would say that the customer is always right, especially since the product was warrantied.
Great local hardware store. Very convenient and helpful staff.
On the package it is stated that there is a 15 year warranty, and all I had to do was return it to the store with the receipt.

We recently moved to the area, and having a neighborhood hardware store with a knowledgeable staff just down the street has been really great. They don't have the inventory of a huge chain so big ticket items like generators aren't available, but they've supplied all of my new-house projects with tools and great advice. Couldn't be happier.
Overpriced and under-stocked. Female manager very unpleasant and dismissive. One of the stock boys was helpful (Nick). But I would never shop there again.
I purchased a "True Value Grass Shears " from this store. I have been a relatively long term customer there. I brought the shears home and tried to cut the grass with them, to my disappointment, they did not cut well. I returned them two days later. I was told first that the store could not take them back because they were used. Then I was told that the blades were bent.
I only tried to use them for less than 10 minutes.
